Response targets

Availability

Uptime target per event

Target and scope agreed up front.

Failover

Automatic

Switchover between Starlink and 5G, typically within a few seconds.

Power

UPS on core

Grid and UPS as standard; generator feed on request.

Monitoring

During the event

Synthetic tests, telemetry, and alerting.

Reliability built on redundancy, visibility, and discipline.

Each layer is tested on-site before go-live and monitored continuously during the event.

Resilient uplinks

  • Starlink with monitored routing.
  • 5G/LTE with priority SIMs.
  • Wired uplink preferred when available.

Conditioned power

  • UPS on core and edge.
  • Generator-ready cabling and ATS (on request).
  • Voltage and temperature telemetry.

Monitoring

  • Synthetic reachability checks every 30 seconds.
  • QoS and latency per SSID/VLAN.
  • Escalation to the on-call engineer within minutes.

Runbooks

  • Pre-flight checklists on-site.
  • Drills for uplink and power failover.
  • Post-incident review within 48 hours.

What we agree per event

  • Managed WiFi SSIDs (guest, staff, production) and wired drops.
  • Primary + secondary uplinks with automatic failover.
  • Power delivery to the core network racks.
  • Live monitoring, alerting, and engineer availability.
Event Target
Uplink failover Automatic, typically a few seconds
Response to a critical incident Within 15 minutes
On-site response (during event hours) Engineer is present on-site
Status update frequency Every 15 minutes during an incident

Targets and scope are set per event in the quote.

How we keep your network live

  1. Site survey: uplink mapping, power paths, RF plan.
  2. Pre-flight: burn-in test of uplinks, UPS load test, failover drill.
  3. Go-live: staged activation of SSIDs and VLANs with validation walks.
  4. During the event: continuous telemetry, synthetic tests, and a reachable engineer.
  5. Afterwards: a report with uptime, incidents, and recommendations.
